Jake'd been watching reruns of Star Trek (original recipe) on TV under a blanket when the doorbell rings, and it startles him out of his stupor.

"Who'd want to come here..." he asks to no one in particular as he attempts to fix his bed (couch?) head before peeking through the peephole.

Jake is... shocked to say the least. He opens the door looking rather like a deer clothed in sweats and t-shirt, inna headlights.

His grin, however, is wide. "Chuck! Oh my--am I dreaming?"

"Oh, just... hanging out on the couch, watching 'Mirror, Mirror,'" Jake says, smiling. "Normal Saturday morning vegging."

"Kind of. It's more compressed or something, and the flashes don't work quite the same way, and there's stuff they thought would be useful for a spy to know."
